Congratulations David and Denise!
When we met David and Denise so many months ago I knew right away that their wedding was going to be a blast. They were so much fun, and David was really into music, so I knew his music choice for their Same Day Edit would be great...and boy was I right. They chose "All Those Things That I've Done" by The Killers. It just goes to show that thiking outside the box when you come up with your wedding music choices can have some really fantastic results. And let me tell you how nice it was to get a break from the little Hawaiin "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"...Can we all agree that that song is played out at this point?? Pleeeeeaaaaasseeeee???
So here's the details of the wedding, and then I'll let you get to the good stuff...Denise and David's Same Day Edit!
Venue: The Taj Boston (at the corner of Arlington and Newbury) Let me tell you...I have never been to a venue where their staff works so well with the couples' vendors. It was the best example of working as a team that I have ever seen. Sherry Michelson was the coordinator from the Taj that worked David and Denise and she was so helpful to us, she met with us ahead of time, gave us a tour, and showed us nothing but the best hospitality. We love her!! I also have to give props to our new best friend, Evan the A/V guy (A/V=Audio Visual for all you non geeks out there). In our time of need he really came through and helped us out, he was a great asset to the "team". I also have to mention, Joe, the Maitre'd. He was so kind, and held it together even when our projection ran a little late. Yeah, we're officially lovin the Taj!
Photog: Henry Chan from Wedding Photography by Henry Chan. This man is in 100 places all at once. He really is amazing to watch. Coming all the way from Brooklyn to shoot Denise and David wedding, and I can definately see why they chose him, I"m waiting patiently to see their wedding posted on his blog...ok maybe I'm not so patient, I have to admit I checked it 10 times yesterday. Yeah...just a little blog-a-holic.
DJ: Peter from Boston Sound Choice got Denise adn David's family and friends up and singing love songs karaoke/american idol style...funniest thing I've ever seen...seriously.
Flowers: Mimosa Fresh Flower Design You'll get to see Denise's flowers in the SDE...yeah they speak for themselves...amazing, that's all I have to say.
Invites/Menus/Placecards: Had to mention Vantage Graphics who did a killer job on the printing...couldn't forget them, afterall, where would a wedding be with no invites, right??
Gotta share some love with Sheila Orsi who was our pinch hitter/shooter for the night..couldn't have done it without her!
Ok ladies and gents...the wait is over...here's Denise and David's rockin SDE...
